Research of Enhancing Laparoscopic Surgical Instruments with Biocompatible Hydrophilic Coating
The proposal focuses on improving laparoscopic surgical instruments by applying a biocompatible hydrophilic ceramic coating. The key goals are to:

Reduce friction between surgical tools and tissue.

Improve the durability, maneuverability, and overall performance of the instruments.

Enhance patient outcomes by minimizing tissue trauma and postoperative complications.
In terms of the methodology, we thoroughly researched the manufacturing process for a hydrophilic ceramic coating as well as testing and evaluation to determine the friction and biocompatibility of the coating. The full report can be downloaded below.
